Congratulations to Anesia for the DRP!

Fri, Aug 31, 2012

Editor: It was a high day in heaven on Thursday, August 23, 2012.

God, the Ruler of the Universe, and legions of holy angels rejoiced as they witnessed the announcement of the Democratic Republican Party (DRP), founded by former Senator of the New Democratic Party, Mrs Anesia Baptiste.{{more}}

Not only was it pleasing to the heavenly audience, but also to the vocal and silent Vincentian citizens who long to see the rescuing of this country from the oppressive, tyrannical behaviour of the ruling Unity Labour Party (ULP) and the potential anti-religious dictatorship of the Opposition New Democratic Party (NDP).

Congratulations Anesia, on being the pioneer of Republicanism in the state of St Vincent and the Grenadines, where under a DRP government, there will be guaranteed respect and protection for the inalienable rights and freedoms of all the people – both supporters and opposers of the DRP.

Congratulations on being a political leader who embraces the fact that God is involved in politics: He is “the King of all the earth…” (Psalms 47:7), He “ruleth in the kingdom of men and giveth it to whomsoever he will.” (Daniel 4: 25) and He is “KING OF KINGS, AND LORDS OF LORDS.” (Revelation 19: 16).

Additionally, God inspired Jethro to give a very wise counsel to Moses to improve the politics in Israel, so “Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties and rulers of tens.” (Exodus 18: 25) Now what kind of men were they? ‘’…able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness…” – They were Christian politicians. (Exodus 18: 21).

So, congratulations Anesia, for using biblical political history to propel you into shaping modern political history, despite the claim of your critics that Christians should stay out of politics.

Congratulations for declaring that “no religious test shall be required to qualify any person for membership of and or candidacy for any seat for the Democratic Republican Party”, even though he or she does not believe in the God of Moses, who is the founder of politics, which is simply the science of governing. Under a DRP government, the future of religious liberty is safe indeed!

For the first time in St Vincent and the Grenadines, governance will be based not only theoretically, but practically on the rule of law, where none shall be above the law. For the first time in this country, Ministers will be made to consistently operate on the premise that the power belongs to the people who have hired them to direct their affairs, and that the DRP will work hard out of a heart of love, sacrifice and genuine service to the people, and not out of opportunism, all of which Anesia Baptiste, the modern-day David, will use to lead the defeat of the political Goliaths in Jesus name.

Congrats Anesia! May God continue to lead the DRP unto victory.
