I am very sorry for the inconvenience

Tue, Feb 7. 2012

Dear Neighbour,

I have noted your concern about my burning of bush in my backyard. I am very sorry for the inconvenience, but you see when I trim my yard, I am left with piles of bush which need to be disposed of and unfortunately, it costs money to truck it away from our nice posh neighbourhood.{{more}}

The only alternative is to burn it for a couple of minutes to get rid of the bulky stuff. I can leave the bush to grow, if the burning is offensive to you, but then you may write to the papers again and say that your neighbour is a slob.

So, what will it be? Should I leave the place bushy for the thieves to hide, or should I cut and burn it periodically, so that our nice posh neighbourhood remains that way.
