Premier Distributors: a good corporate citizen

Editor: One of SVG’s adoptive corporate citizens, Premier Distributors – a private limited company of Trinidadian origin, has been contributing enormously to nation-building since its legal establishment here, two years ago.{{more}}

Essentially a firm that markets a wide assortment of snacks and juices, this young enterprise in St. Vincent’s private sector has so far sponsored a cricket tournament, “Premier Distributors Calliaqua 20/20 Softball Cricket Competition”, currently in progress at the Calliaqua playing field; gave several donations to fledgling groups and organisations and it has also been able to reach out, in a true community spirit, to those persons in the East St. George Community where its operations are based, who are deserving of assistance.

Premier Distributors, like some other well-meant corporate citizens here, deserve the patronage of all sectors of the Vincentian community.

It has so far been setting a good pace, which other private sector firms will have to emulate in order to ensure that communities throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines are adequately sustained – Premier Distributors must be congratulated for demonstrating its social responsibility to this nation.
