God made a woman for a man, not a man for a man or a woman for a woman

Editor: It is often said that when America sneezes the rest of the world catches cold. July 24 was an historic day in New York, when same sex marriages occurred. Earlier on, it became legal to have abortion also in New York.{{more}}

We may say well that is the USA, but think about it. There are gays living in this country, and we pray that we would never reach such a condition where gays will be given legal status and get married. We need not be reminded that Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed because of this lifestyle. It is unbelievable but true that many persons support this lifestyle.

It sure will be a sad day if this country has to legalize gays and have same sex marriages. God will surely destroy this nation if ever we go in that direction. God made a woman for a man and not a man for a man or a woman for a woman. In the garden, God provided Eve for Adam and told them to be fruitful and multiply, and in Genesis 2: 24, we are told for the sake of marriage shall a man leave his father and his mother and cleave unto his wife and they shall become one flesh. So it is interesting to note that it is a man leaving and cleaving to his wife, not two same sexes.

It is not genetic, but rather a sinful state of heart and downright rebelliousness to God when two persons of the same sex would enter into a relationship, and worse get married. We should never in no way support this kind of lifestyle for we would be inviting the wrath of God upon this nation. I know we are already displeasing God by so many sinful practices, and to allow this abominable practice will only strengthen God’s anger against this nation.

I call upon us to turn to God. Let us pray more often and turn our lives into his hand. He loves us and cares enough for us. I hope we would desire to be godly people. For blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.
