LOVE YES LOVE
11.FEB.11
by Richard A. Byron-Cox
For Phly and to Rae
Although seconds ultimately become years
Fairytale laughter turns into real-life tears
Grey age arrives and green youth disappears
Yet real love grows and yes it stays{{more}}
Warm spring changes to winterâs cold
Thereâs nothing new that shanât be old
A story is stale once it has been told
Yet love rust not but turns to gold
Night always conquers the most splendid day
Roses bloom a while then fade away
A sunset kisses good-bye the sunlight rays
Yet love has no limits only endless pathways
Mountains get lower as the clocks chime
Rivers flow by with the passing time
Nature marches on to its rhythm and rhyme
Yet love remains in our hearts and our minds
Yes everything changes as we travel life road
Sometimes itâs a burdened and a heavy load
While faith and hope make the shoulders broad
Without love weâd be all washed overboard
Sure we can full our brains with all thereâs to know
And accumulate riches that multiply and grow
But love in the heart is what easies our woes
Yes through the beauty of love the human glows
