This plant is small, it is young
How strong, you may not know
In need of air, light and water flow

Unattended by the farmer
This plant still needs to grow
It may be over shadowed and weakened
By larger plants, diseases, insects and animals

It may die young while growing strong
The farmer may be unaware
If it grows great, the farmer may claim
That he planted the seed and should get a share

Your child needs all your support,
Love, guidance and care
Do not leave him to struggle the hard road,
In danger and fear

For not all unattended seeds
Grow into big trees
Some may look promising
But are cut short of their use and productivity
