We need better service at Ministry of Education

11.SEP.09

Editor: The service provided by some public institutions is deplorable. The Ministry in question is the Ministry of Education.

How is it possible for Senior Education Officers to effectively do their job without wanting to interact with members of the public?{{more}}

Why as poor people we are made to return repeatedly without our concerns addressed, without due regard for energy, time and money?

We may come from Fancy, Fitz Hughes and the Grenadines but have to make several visits to get a matter dealt with without regard to the money we have to spend.

Front office workers cannot treat every issue as the same and record the information to take to the officer, who seems as if he doesn’t want to relate to the public.

Something needs to be done on our behalf.
