We are living in the last days

Editor: The recent increase in murders in our land has again raised concern. The Commissioner of Police and his force must be complimented for their effort to bring about peace between rival gangs and also for offering rewards for guns. Yet amidst all of those efforts, the murder figures continue to rise.{{more}}
It thus shows that manâs effort alone is not enough. It takes the power of God to control all our lives as we are all exposed to various kinds of temptations and challenges on regular basis.
What this country needs is to wake up from sleeping and realize that we are living in the last days and that we need Christ in our lives. It is time to stop the slandering and hatred. It is time to the backbiting and the political division and work together as one people.
We need to get down on our knees and pray and love one another, rather than getting on radios and slandering and cursing and speaking ill of others.
May God help us all.
