Remember, a firm tree does not fear the storm

Editor: A firm tree does not fear the storm. As we go through difficult times, we must reflect on this saying. It reminds us that no matter what we are going through, there will always be hope, because the strength we need lies within us. {{more}} No Prime Minister, king, queen, or any other head of state can save us. We need to save ourselves with our will to persevere, our desire to achieve something good and our trust in the one true and mighty God.

To get what you want, you have to learn to take a stand for what you believe in. The resources of this planet are there to be shared in an equitable manner amongst its inhabitants. Too often, the impression is given that they belong to our political leaders who are there to distribute them to us at their will. This is a mentality that we need to get rid of. Do not be afraid to demand the proper management and distribution of this country’s resources (natural as well as human), for they belong to no one person or group of persons. Stand up and take a stand when necessary. Remember that a firm tree does not fear the storm.
