Who will bell the cat?

27.FEB.09

Editor: This story is about a bad cat which is terrorizing the rat population. At a general meeting, an old rat suggested that the cat be belled in order to warn everyone when it approaches. A young mouse stood up and asked who will bell the cat? The meeting broke up.{{more}}

So, today this big bad cat is still at large terrifying the whole of S.V.G in the form of, for example, Drug Pushers; the exploitation of girls under fifteen; Granting of liquor licenses to greedy shop operators who do not know about opening and closing up hours. S.R.O #30-1963 (This has been amended) Monday to Friday = 6a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday 6 am to 10 p.m. – Sunday 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.)

Bus conductors who are exploiting our under-15-year-old girls.

Therefore, this bad cat must be belled now, and we the citizens of S. V.G choose the police to do just that. We are paying them to do just that, especially the RRU, which always has a vehicle, compared with some stations which do not own one of their own. Sir, when R.R.U Officers are driving around at nights after 10 p.m., they don’t need to get any complaints from citizens (because citizens are threatened) when they meet shops still open and selling liquor to the public. The owner should be charged for violating SRO #30 1963 and their musical instruments be taken away. They should also be asked to produce their Liquor License because many of them don’t have one or they fail to pay same.

Mr. Miller, please look up SRO 30 63 and give instructions to all officers to enforce it.
