Stop playing that smut on the radio

EDITOR: I know the radio stations provide an important service to the community. But I have a big problem with certain radio stations in SVG, and the authorities should take the initiative to address this situation.{{more}}

Some songs are preposterous and should not be played on the radio stations. Although some of the obscenity, profanity and abusive language is edited, these songs are still inappropriate. Some DJs play these songs at any time of day.

Children are very sensitive and know every word of these songs and usually sing along with them. The song “Romping Shop” by Vybz Kartel and Spice, and also “Dem a Fag” by Movado should never be aired on radio, especially at peak hours.

Again, I am not against the radio stations, but they have a very important role in guiding our youths and maintaining their social responsibility.
