It’s really sad to hear of Roy Ralph’s passing

EDITOR: It is with enormous sadness that we learned of the death of Roy “Draggie” Ralph, masquerader, mas builder, mas band leader par excellence. His loss will be felt throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and indeed across the region.{{more}}

Roy Ralph is often referred to as a Carnival icon. Ahdrenalin recognises his generosity of spirit. He was always willing to share his knowledge and skills. Many members of Ahdrenalin Mas Band and many Ahdrenalin Junkies discovered mas through Roy Ralph, his band, and his creations.

One cannot talk about Vincy Mas without referring to Roy Ralph. He will be dearly missed. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends and close collaborators in this time of sadness. His was a life of great achievement, and we will celebrate his talent and contribution to culture for years to come.
