Some Spiritual Baptists too politically motivated

EDITOR: Since I read one of the weekly newspapers on the 13th March, 2008, page 8, I am hurt up to the time I am writing this article where I read of someone rightly saying that the years 2006 and 2007 passed with the Shakers making a fool of themselves and that the PM is urged to put an end to this farce dropping this line for good.{{more}}
I do believe that many Shakers are too politically motivated that not one dares to tell that man anything. But I, Bishop Lester Frank, did not fool myself because I never attended those functions. I was criticized by many. Some even took away their speech, but I stand firm for I am spiritually motivated and will be until I die. I am nobodyâs fool. I first do as directed.
âKnowing brethren beloved, your election is of God. 1 Thess 1:41â and thatâs why I am able to speak out openly.
It looks as if most of our Shakers either lost or threw away the spiritual gifts we received from God and became deaf, dumb, blind, cannot smell and feel and are dancing to the music of other bands which contributes to the position our country is in at present.
If Spiritual Baptists get back on our track and sound the trumpets loud and clear to warn the people of the danger ahead of us, things will change.
I know that many will be offended but I have to take the beam out of my eyes before I should attack any other. Every day I spend, I am getting closer to my grave, so, brethren, letâs amend our ways (Jeremiah 7:3). Let brotherly love continue (Heb 13:1) and prepare to meet our God (Amos 4:12).
The Lent season passed with plenty music and dance. Vincentians who are always flocking at the Unity Square, please change the functions sometimes and be happy. The eyes of Jesus are steadfastly looking at us and He warns us to look for his coming because no-one knows the time, but letâs pray sincerely and we will be rewarded.
May God continue to bless us is my prayer for all. Thank you.
