Spare the rod spoil the child

Dec.15.06

EDITOR: I’m saddened to see how easily professed Christians can waiver from the faith. It is unbelievable how they have no regard for the principles the Creator put in place for the development of both the family and society.

Yahweh instituted marriage and gave the command to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth (Gen 1:26-28). Due to sin entering the human race God saw it fit to give laws and guidelines to bring depraved beings in union with him, if obedient. Punishment whatever form it may take was given in these guidelines to prevent the spreading of evil in the home and society and to develop and form characters pleasing to God.{{more}}

There is no doubt in my mind, that some parents abuse the children they ought to care for. I believe that these parents must pay for their actions. This however does not show in any way that chastening and reproof are not the best method of helping a child develop good character and thus be a law abiding citizen. Corporal punishment should not in any way be looked at as violence against a child. We are told in the book of Hebrews 12:11 “no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteous unto them which are exercised thereby” whether it may be the slapping the palm of a three year old child or lashing in the palm, buttocks or across the back of a pre adolescent or adolescent.

It might appear that the UN has our children’s interest at heart, is this really so? I encourage you dear reader to study the words of these quotations very carefully.

Quotations from Global Tyranny Step by Step: The United Nations and the Emerging New World Order pg 147, 152 by William F. Jasper: “The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child springs from totally different philosophical foundation. Like the UN Charter and Soviet Constitution, it views rights not as God-given and unalienable but as government-given and conditional. This view of the origin of rights is completely incompatible with liberty.”

“It finally becomes clear. Ratification is not about children it is about power.”

Like the many other UN treaties the convention on the Rights of the Child is about power, the power to undermine and destroy our Constitution, our national sovereignty, and our God-given rights.

Do they really have our children’s interest at heart?

Minister of Social Mobilization, Social Development, what will happen to the innocent and God-fearing parents and guardians who choose to obey God than the UN, will they become victims of the United Nations abuse? I will really like to know.

Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child but the rod of correction shall drive it from him (Pro 22:15)
