Is UN really trying to destroy Christianity

Dec.1.06

EDITOR: Every time I think of the fact that the United Nations are pushing Governments around the world to abolish Corporal Punishment and other biblical standards it makes me wonder what really is the aim. Mr United Nations is your aim to destroy every form of Christianity?

To Prime Minister Gonsalves, Minister Miguel and Minister Browne which side are you standing on?

Are you so anxious to find favor with the United Nations and not with God?{{more}}

Don’t you know to find favor in the sight of both God and man is to follow after the principles of God (Proverbs 31:4). Why consider the UN with their foolish reasoning that Corporal punishment is barbaric and against the child’s right? What right? Did God give special rights to children? No!

In fact God has placed children under subjection to parents and not the UN (Ephesians 6:1-3). God is no respecter of persons. He gave humanity three fundamental rights; The right to religious liberty, life, and right to private property but He gave children no special right so who is the UN to come and dictate to us concerning our responsibility as parents?

God has given us as parents the authority to train up children in the way they should grow (PRO 22:6). Our children do not belong to the UN they belong to us and we parents have to give an account to God for our children not the UN.

Ministers take a look seriously into the future, consider how brutish, wicked, rebellious and heartless the citizens of this country will be when you abolish Corporal Punishment.

Parents let us not sit back and let the government and United Nations take away our God given rights; they are not the UN they are ours, let us follow the principles of God for “He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes” (Proverbs 13:24) and to the Ministers “the way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that harkeneth unto counsel is wise” (Proverbs 12:15).
