Three pastors – Heroes of faith

EDITOR: During the early 1960s three young men, Benjamin Samuel, Errol Daniel, and Hollis Charles gave up their jobs, and went into full time ministry. There were others who started out with them but later left for greener pastures.

They have struggled through blood, sweat and tears but they are still here. The nation salutes you, the Church joins in doing the same, gentlemen of the clergy.{{more}}

You were in the first group to bring Gospel Radio Program, then in the early 70s we had our first local Gospel Television program. You were the first to introduce gospel concerts, drama, and dance. We were thrilled for those wonderful times shared at the Old Peace Memorial Hall, Calliaqua Town Hall, Biabou, Lowmans W.D. and Dickson just to name a few. The churches salute you Sirs.

You have not given up, keep up the good work. I know it was not always easy but He never promised joys without sorrow, peace without pain, continue to see the battle it’s not yours it’s the Lords. For consider Him who bore such contradiction of sinners against himself lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds (Hebrews 11:32-40).
