There are so many factors which contribute to criminal activities in a country. However, it has been said for many years that prevention is better than cure. In order to prevent certain criminal activities, close attention must be paid to the many causes and adjustments must be made to avoid such circumstances.

I have never seen a horse behind and the cart in front pulling the horse. The answer is not so much in solving a crime but doing everything possible to prevent its occurrence. Some food for thought for future prevention, it is a dangerous act to take away the right of an individual, and give it to another based on society reasons, or monetary reward. It is also very important to be fair when dealing with each other, don’t cut down a man or woman’s breadfruit tree without justifiable reasons, a man’s job is a man’s life.

A reminder – prevention is better than cure. Let wisdom and justice prevail over feelings of spite, greed, anger and hatred.

Let it not be said in this country that it is money talk and justice walk. Don’t close the windows to justice and open the doors to crime. It will have serious repercussions. It is like being burnt by hot liquid, and pouring acid over the burn to cool and heal.

Envy and jealousy is as cruel as the grave. It is not possible to prevent certain criminal activities in a country, but we have a responsibility not to take signs and causes for granted.

A word of caution to those who take part in senseless killings, whosoever lives by the gun shall die by the gun; as a man soweth, that shall he reap. A word to the wise, if it is possible try to live at peace with all men, and women, there is more to gain than to lose by so doing.
