Prevention is better than cure

EDITOR: Greetings to you today.

The Tri-Tri season is now beginning at different rivers and the fishermen are catching Tri-Tri, most of which is safe for human consumption.

However, I noticed a group working at the North River in Kingstown. Where the water in this river meets the sea, the area is badly polluted, and any fish caught here must be unsafe for eating. {{more}}The danger is that Tri-Tri caught here is taken and sold to the unsuspecting general public in the market.

I am suggesting that the Public Health Department erect signs in this river to warn the public not to fish in this area or they will be prosecuted.

Prevention is always better than cure.

Yours truly,
