Mildred Briddie née Riffin formerly of Arnos Vale, St. Vincent, died peacefully at her home in Toronto, Canada, on Monday, March 2nd, 2009, after a prolonged illness.
She was the beloved wife of Samuel âSonnyâ Briddie, also deceased, and loving mother of Brenda.
She will be missed by family and friends who helped to care for her during her illness, including her niece Susan, Ron Smith and family, and especially her daughter Brenda. She will be fondly remembered by family and friends in St. Vincent, Montreal and Toronto.
Mildred is survived by her brothers and sisters including Marie Riffin and son John, nephew Noel Riffin,and niece Jacqueline Albert, in St. Vincent, as well as other nephews and nieces including Rosemary and family, in the USA and Canada.
The funeral service for Mildred Briddie née Riffin took place in Toronto, Canada, at the Isaac Jogues Church, 1148 Finch Avenue, Pickering, on Friday, March 6, at 10.30am.
