CCJ President to engage Vincentians
A three-member delegation from the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ), headed by its new president, Vincentian Justice Adrian Saunders, is scheduled to undertake a four-day visit to this country next week.
The purpose of the visit is to engage a broad cross-section of Vincentian society in discussions about the CCJ, its activities and the possible accession of St Vincent and the Grenadines to full membership of the CCJ.
The delegation, which arrives here on the evening of Tuesday, August 28, will be the guest of the SVG Bar Association at a Town Hall meeting planned for Wednesday, August 29 at Frenches House beginning at 7:00 p.m.
The delegation is also expected to meet with the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition, hold a media conference and engage different interests groups in discussions during its visit.
The public is invited to attend the Town Hall meeting.
