SVG Brewery sponsors Vincy Mas 2018

The St Vincent Brewery Limited has cemented its support of Vincy Mas 2018, with the signing of a one-year sponsorship contract with the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC).

“We at the CDC are very cognizant that our delivery of a festival and our mandate to support the development of the Carnival product in St Vincent and the Grenadines is very dependent on the goodwill of our sponsors and we are thrilled again that in 2018 you at the St Vincent Brewery Limited have come onboard with us to support Vincy Mas 2018,” said Chair of the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) Ricky Adams on Tuesday.

Adams was speaking at the Victoria Park in the conference room of the CDC, where the one-year contract was signed.

Also present at the signing were chief executive officer (CEO) of the CDC Ashford Wood, Sales Marketing manager at the St Vincent Brewery Limited Lamont Medica and Marketing coordinator at the Brewery Kelvin Franklyn.

Going further, Adams said that the CDC was happy for the Brewery’s support and the fact that the Brewery is a returning partner must mean that the CDC has been doing something good over the years.

“We appreciate your sponsorship and we hope that at the end of it, the CDC, the St Vincent Brewery Limited and the Carnival components, Carnival as a building block of the economy and the culture of St Vincent and the Grenadines will benefit,” said Adams.

Commenting, Medica said that over the years the Brewery has always been a firm believer and supporter of cultural activities in St Vincent and the Grenadines, including Vincy Mas.

“It is something that has been working for years; we have had no complaints, so it is a fruitful partnership that has been beneficial for both parties,” Medica stated.
