‘Everything Vincy’ website launched


A Buy Local campaign and the Everything Vincy website were launched by Invest SVG last Friday.

Annette Mark, the executive director of Invest SVG, said that the website ( was created in-house by Angenella Young, chair of the Organizing Committee.

Young said the website has a countdown to this year’s Everything Vincy Plus Expo and features registration forms and details for the 2018 expo.

Businesses participating in the 2018 expo will receive free training from the Caribbean Export Development Agency (CEDA).

Chris McNair, Competitiveness and Innovation manager at CEDA, said training is critical in order for businesses to understand how to negotiate with potential market representatives.

The Buy Local Campaign will promote the value of Vincentian products and services, ascertain what makes a product Vincentian and build awareness of the products. The campaign will use various activities and media platforms to disseminate information, leading up to the Everything Vincy Plus Expo in October.
