Massy encouraging customers to live healthier lifestyle

Massy Stores continue to set the trend when it comes to giving back to their customers.

The supermarket chain, in a Kellogg’s promotion that took place between September 19 to October 24, provided shoppers with the opportunity to practise a healthy lifestyle by gaining six-month memberships to athletic organizations and a gym.

The promotion, “Get active with Kellogg’s,” asked shoppers who spent $15 or more on any Kellogg’s product to drop their receipt with a phone number and name in a promotional box.

Up for grabs were three six-month memberships to Fitness Lab, three six-month memberships to the SVG Tennis Association, two to the Seishin Karate Club and one to the Black Sand Swim Club (for a child).

Winning the Fitness Lab memberships were Stacy Sutherland, Alexandra Dusic and Tracy DaSilva, while Moureeze Franklyn, Denise Francis and Hubert Sharpe won membership to the SVG Tennis Association. Taking home the Seishin Karate Club memberships were Sherine Oliver and Yvonne Llewellyn, while Clement and Cindy Peart won the Black Sand Swim Club membership.

Marketing assistant at Massy Stores Akene Keizer said they were happy to be able to set some of their customers on a track to becoming more active.

Keizer noted that health is very important and Massy Stores is always seeking ways to improve their customers’ lifestyle.

“We are not just here to make a profit, but to help in any way we can, because without customers there is no business,” said Keizer.
