SVG National Trust commences outreach programme in Barrouallie
The St Vincent and the Grenadines National Trust is engaging in a series of community outreaches, which started last Saturday, November 4, in Barrouallie.
The session was held from 4 p.m. at the Barrouallie Town Hall.
The National Trust is charged with the preservation of the natural, historic, cultural and built heritage of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, on behalf of its people.
The Barrouallie community is rich with an abundant supply of natural, historic, cultural and built heritage treasures. The objective of the outreach is to encourage members of the community to take a proactive approach in the preservation of their historic treasures. As part of the outreach, there will be a tree planting session in the community.
An invitation to attend the first session was extended to all residents of Barrouallie and the surrounding areas by the National Trust.
