Plans for Easter activities 2018 underway
Plans are already underway for Easter activities 2018.
The Ministry of Tourism has already held meetings with the various stakeholders involved with Easter activities in places like Bequia and Union Island and Minister of Tourism, Sports and Culture Cecil McKie says meetings are being held now to ensure an early start, so that they can build on the activities that took place in 2017.
Speaking at a press conference last week, Minister McKie noted that the onshore activities in the Grenadines are growing and as a result, they have been challenging to manage; hence the early planning.
However, as it relates to sailing activities, they are seeking to bring up the numbers.
Easter Sunday will be celebrated in 2018 on April 1.
