SVGTA hosting two-day workshop for restaurant managers, supervisors

Following on the heels of four weeks of training for restaurant frontline and kitchen staff held in May and June, the St Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority (SVGTA) will this week host a two-day workshop for restaurant managers and supervisors.{{more}}

Approximately 30 persons representing restaurants in the Kingstown, Arnos Vale and Villa areas are expected to participate in the sessions, which will focus on Service Excellence and Health and Safety for management. The training sessions will take place at the Beachcombers Hotel conference room on Tuesday, July 19 and Wednesday, July 20, from 8:30 a.m. daily.

The training is part of the Authority’s thrust to enhance tourism services and by extension, the overall tourism product in St Vincent and the Grenadines. Similar sessions will be extended to restaurants in the Grenadines during the months of August and September.
