Saint James expresses condolences to Rock Gutter victims


The Saint James School of Medicine has expressed condolences to the families and friends of the children whose lives were lost in the tragic accident that occurred at Rock Gutter, Owia, on January 12, 2015.{{more}}

“We feel sadness in our hearts over this tragedy which took the lives of five of our beautiful school children. We extend our sincere condolences to the families of Anique A Alexander, Racquel J Ashton, Jamal T Edwards, Jamalie J Edwards, and Glenroy G Michael.

“We also pray for the survival of the two missing students Simonique PN Ballantyne and Chanstacia A Stay and for their safe return to their families.

“The Dean of Administration at Saint James, Professor Dr Anwarul B Siddiqui, MD and faculty member Dr Hameeda Siddiqui personally attended the funeral ceremony held in Fancy, SVG on Sunday, January 25, 2015. As a member of the St Vincent community, Saint James stands by the nation and the families of these children. Our thoughts and prayers are with them,” the release from Dr Anwarul Siddiqui, Dean of Administration Saint James School of Medicine, SVG, said.
