Tomorrow is Budget Day


The 2015 Appropriation Bill, commonly referred to as the Budget, will be presented and debated in Parliament, beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28.{{more}}

Tomorrow’s session of Parliament is scheduled to being at 4 p.m., with the presentation of the Throne Speech by Governor General Sir Frederick Ballantyne.

Following the Throne Speech, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Dr Ralph Gonsalves will make the Budget presentation.

Debate on the Budget is expected to continue until Tuesday, February 3.

The presentation of the Budget had been scheduled for Monday, January 12, but had to be postponed because of the tragic events at Rock Gutter.
