Payments to be made today to successful students in the 2014 external exams


Students who were successful at the 2014 external examinations will from today receive an award of EC$500 each from the Ministry of Education.{{more}}

Disbursement of payments will start today, Friday, November 7, from 1:30 p.m. at the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College, Villa Campus; and will be given to students who have passed the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC), Cambridge Education Advanced Level (A’Level) and CAPE examinations.

To qualify for the monetary award, students at the CSEC level must have passed five subjects or more, including English Language and Mathematics. A’Level and CAPE students must have passed at least two subjects in addition to Communication Studies, Caribbean Studies or GCE General Paper.

When collecting payment, students are asked to bring along a valid form of identification (e.g passport, ID card etc). For students who are unable to collect on their own behalf, an authorized representative must bring the following documents:

– A signed letter from the student authorizing collection

– A valid form of identification of the student

– A valid form of identification of the person authorized to collect on the student’s behalf

Payments will continue at the Ministry of Education from Monday, November 10 until Friday, November 21 between the hours of 9:30 – 11:30 am and 1:30 – 3:30 pm
