The URAC, working with Vincentian group SVG Reading Region of England, handed over the items to the coordinator of the centre, much to the delight of the residents.

This is the third such donation made by the URAC and its chairman Ken Abraham.

Working with the Bethel Church of the Nazarene, Brooklyn and the Williams family of Brooklyn, the URAC previously delivered four barrels of food stuff and clothing to the Spring Village Centre and the Rillan Hill Centre.

The URAC is a non-profit organization made up of persons from the South and Central Leeward Area, who once lived overseas. They do charitable work among the elderly and less privileged. At present the URAC fully sponsors one student of the Buccament Bay Secondary School and part sponsors two more.
