Omnibus Association to hold meeting on Sunday


The National OmniBUS Association (NOBA) will hold a special meeting at the Arnos Vale Sporting Complex this Sunday, May 25, at 3 p.m.{{more}}

According to a release from NOBA, they have recently submitted a document to the Ministry of Transport and Works with various initiatives they wish to have implemented during the period 2014-15.

The association has indicated that the Minister of Transport and Works, Julian Francis and the Commissioner of Police, Michael Charles are expected to address the meeting.

President of NOBA Anthony Bacchus has indicated that he hopes to have a good turnout at this meeting and hopes that minibus operators seize the opportunity to give their voice to matters on the agenda.

The association appealed in the release to all members and prospective members of the association to turn up on time for this very important meeting.

The aassociation indicated that there are approximately 500 omnibus operators in SVG. The Omnibus Association has been in existence for over 20 years.
