Andrew Wilson, director of National Parks, was presented with a certificate of appreciation by Earl Tash, president of the Rotary Club St Vincent, after Wilson made a presentation to the organization.

Tash thanked Wilson and his institution for the role it plays in the safeguarding, management and preservation of a number of this country’s historical, cultural and natural resources in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

The National Parks, Rivers and Beaches Authority was established in 2002, with a mandate to look after the security and conservation of the natural heritage and areas, through the Parks and Protected Areas Act.
