RUBIS assists ‘Prep’ School students


Four students of the Kingstown Preparatory School received donations from RUBIS on Friday, February 28.{{more}} Maleik, Khaliel, Miashia and Twana Browne all received school supplies, uniform and dress clothing from accounts executive and country representative of the company Elroy Edwards, at a brief handing-over ceremony at the school. This was RUBIS’ way of showing their appreciation to some of the flood victims in the December 24th natural disaster.

Grade 6 student Maleik Browne thanked the company for bringing these gifts for them, while expressing the view that God should bless and keep the company. Khaliel Browne a Grade 4 student also thanked RUBIS for all the things that were given to them and for being kind hearted.

Edwards expressed his company’s delight in making the donation. “When I was informed of the challenges of some of the students whose homes were destroyed, I was moved to give a helping hand and wanted to make sure the affected students get back to a state of normalcy within the quickest possible time.

“Part of our vision is to help to build St Vincent and the Grenadines through investment in the children. We realize that our children are the best assets of this nation.”

The presentation was witnessed by acting principal Samuel Holder, counsellor Suziette Williams, and other members of staff and students of the reciepients’ classes.
