Team leader Desrie Richards expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the Unit and the director of the Adult and Continuing Education Department.

According to Richards, the laptop would mainly be used in the training process, as most presentations utilize the multi-media – with PowerPoint presentations. This, she said will reap immeasurable benefits to the Adult population targeted by the EAPD and by extension ACE.

“The Adult and Continuing Education Unit has fostered a remarkable partnership with the Police Co-operative Credit Union, having trained for PCCU on a couple occasions, and wishes that this would only enhance various areas of training, technical advice and general co-operation,” Richards said.

The EAPD seeks to reflect the departmental objective of “forming human capital by making the philosophy of lifelong learning and basic education popular and enduring” in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

A.C.E. graduates, who are either current or prospective business persons, benefit through empowerment from the EAPD services of training, counselling, technical advice and business plan preparation provided by the EAPD team.
