The three females and two males are Dale Nero, Yoland James, Madanna Douglas, Shemron Williams, and Rhodanna Pope. The scholarship grant is as a result of a recent visit by Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves to Guyana, during which he met with that country’s Minister of Agriculture.

The students will attend an official welcoming ceremony put on by the Ministry of Agriculture in Guyana. This country’s Minister of Agriculture, who is currently in Guyana attending the annual Caribbean Week of Agriculture, will also be in attendance.
