Humphrey, 32, a sailor, appeared in court on Tuesday and was not required to enter a plea to the charge of murder.

On August 24, Humphrey is alleged to have chopped Tittle at the back of her neck with a cutlass, in the presence of their three children at their Chapmans Village home around 7:30 a.m.

Magistrate Ricky Burnette remanded Humphrey in custody and the matter was transferred to the Serious Offences Court for September 3, when a date for the Preliminary Inquiry will be decided.

The brother and sister legal team of Jadric and Annique Cummings of Cardinal Law Firm are representing Humphrey in the matter. (KW)
