What started out as a programme to bring North Leeward parents up to speed in Information Technology in 2009, is now focused on equipping children between the ages of seven and 12 years old in various areas.

These areas include mathematics, reading, sports and safety, which the organization says are ideal for children’s cognitive developmental skills.

The first camp is scheduled to take place at the Troumaca Secondary School, from August 12-17, followed by the second at the Barrouallie Secondary School from August 19-24, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily.

Lunch will be provided.

The organization is extending an invitation to parents and children from communities in both constituencies to attend the opening of the 2013 programme, which takes place at the Troumaca Secondary School next week Monday.

Apart from addresses from organizers and other officials, the opening would feature bouncing castles, as well as appearances by Dora the Explora, Phineas and Ferb, and 2013 Soca Monarch Gamal “Skinny Fabulous” Doyle.
