SOSVG winners receive prizes


Special Olympics St Vincent and the Grenadines presented prizes to the lucky winners of the SOSVG Raffle on June 10.{{more}}

The first prize, a 32” LED Flat Screen Television, donated by Courts St Vincent Ltd was presented to Taj Moore of Calder Ridge by Courts Marketing Manager Alexis John.

Sharon Sutherland received the second prize, a Blackberry Curve 9360, on behalf of Novita Roberts of Fancy, from Juno DeRoche Marketing Manager of Digicel SVG Ltd, donor of the prize.

The third prize, a Digital Deep Fryer, was donated by C.D. Veira/Singer and the lucky winner was Isha Simmons of Bequia.

Special Olympics St Vincent and the Grenadines will continue to raise funds towards ensuring the success of the National Games which will be held August 9 to 10 2013, at the Arnos Vale Sporting Complex, as well as for the participation of our athletes in upcoming regional and international Special Olympics events.

The thrust and efforts of Special Olympics St Vincent and the Grenadines focus on providing opportunities to persons with disabilities through sporting activities. Over 200 athletes will participate in the 2013 National Games. Athletes will be

participating in track & field events, bocce and football.

Special Olympics St Vincent and the Grenadines extends congratulations to the raffle winners and a special thank you to all the sponsors and persons who supported this fund-raising activity.
