Dr Rosalind Ambrose to present GHS 102nd anniversary lecture
Consultant Radiologist Dr Rosalind Ambrose will be the presenter at the Girlsâ High School 102nd anniversary lecture next week.{{more}}
Dr Ambrose will speak on the topic âThe Millennium Development Goals â The SVG Barometerâ.
Dr Ambrose is a consultant radiologist at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital and chief of Staff of the Caribbean Medical Imaging Centre.
She is professor of Clinical Radiology at the Trinity School of Medicine and former director of Medical Education at the Kingstown Medical College.
This distinguished alumna of the GHS also pioneered tele radiology services in St Vincent and the Grenadines. In October 2001, she was nominated as Overseas Editor â âWest Indian Medical Journalâ and in 2002 nominated to serve on the Caribbean Regional Medical Accreditation Council â CARICOM.
She is also SVGâs representative on the Caribbean Association of Medical Councils. A professional with numerous accolades, Dr Ambrose was awarded a Plaque of Long & Selfless Service by the Caribbean Society of Radiologists.
The lecture will take place on Thursday, May 9 at Frenches House in Kingstown, and begins at 8 p.m.
