Blackberry Z10, a smarter choice for customers – LIME


Telecommunications provider LIME, this week, launched the new BlackBerry Z10 smartphone, powered by BlackBerry 10.{{more}}

The company also announced that three lucky customers from across the region will be jetting off to attend Alicia Keys’ “Set the World on Fire” concert in Prague, Czech Republic.

LIME debuted the BlackBerry Z10 at a launch cocktail hosted at the LIME main building in Kingstown, attended by corporate customers on Monday, April 22.

This event had several “early birds”, as patrons arrived very early to be one of the first 40 customers, who received promised gifts, compliments BlackBerry. All customers attending the event were also made eligible for an immediate 20 per cent discount off the purchase of their new BlackBerry Z10 handset.

Lisa Llewellyn, a loyal LIME customer, won a BlackBerry Z10 in a draw that was done by Miss LIME Shannon Bess. Llewellyn was quite pleased with the unexpected gift, admitting she was “getting tired” of her 8520 handset. What an upgrade, indeed!

The event also marked the beginning of LIME’s campaign to spread awareness on the responsible disposal of plastic and aluminum products. LIME’s marketing manager Nikala Williams said “Today is recognized as Earth Day around the world and what better time for us at LIME to begin this partnership. We are encouraging all our customers, both internal and external, to preserve this beautiful country of ours by keeping plastic and aluminum products out of our landfills.”

At the event, LIME explained that the BlackBerry Z10 running on LIME’s reliable network makes for a smarter experience for customers.

“As the region’s value leader, our customers expect us to offer devices and packages that let them work and play at a cost they can afford. The BlackBerry Z10 on our data network will allow us to do just that. LIME customers will get the best of both worlds – a smartphone that goes further and a network provider that understands their needs. Our customers know it is the smarter choice,” said Williams.
