Law enforcement agencies to stage series of events


The Pan Against Crime Committee, the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force and National Commission on Crime Prevention will team up to stage a number of events over the upcoming weeks, continuing into the festive season.{{more}}

The first will be the official launch of the Calliaqua Police Youth Club, tomorrow, Saturday, at 3 p.m. at Calliaqua. The official launch of South Rivers Police Youth Club, combined with a Pan Against Crime Concert is scheduled for South Rivers on Sunday, November 28, at 4 p.m.

Other events to be staged are the Annual Police Christmas Carolling Contest on Friday, December 14, and “Talent Behind the Walls” Prisons Concert on Sunday, December 16.

In addition to these major functions, the Police Band will hold its annual Christmas concerts in communities around St Vincent and the Grenadines.

During the staging of these events, many of the nation’s youth will have opportunities to showcase their talents and creative abilities in song, dance, poetry, drama, and pan.
