Information will also be relayed on VSPCA humane education outreach initiatives and its impact on students and others.

The meeting will also hear about VSPCA rescues, fosters and adoptions, as well as a financial breakdown, depicting how donations and membership fees have been used.

The election of a new executive is also on the agenda for Thursday’s meeting.

Anderson said that for VSPCA to be a sustainable and effective organization, it needs members and volunteers to become further engaged and continue the valuable work that began a year ago.
