LIME, Presidente Beers, Presidente Girls from Dominican Republic. That was the scene on March 2 at Heritage Square, as the SVG Brewery, represented by the Regional Commercial Manager Shafia London and LIME,{{more}} represented by General Manager Leslie Jack, teamed up to officially launch the partnership between LIME and Presidente.

The partnership is an “Unprecedented Move,” as both companies made the first move last Friday, March 2, at Heritage Square. The event featured performances from LIME Soca Dans, Skinny Fabulous, LIME Double Bubble Top Ups, Specials on Presidente Beers, Giveaways, and the main event, the appearance by the Presidente Girls from the Dominican Republic. Thousands gathered to enjoy the cold beverage that is about to take the market by storm.

With Carnival just around the corner, the LIME and Presidente partnership will dominate the scene on the road for the Carnival Monday Street Party. The Monday advertising band will cater for more than 7,000 revellers on the street. LIME Monday Band has won the coveted prize as the largest advertising band.

Thousands at Heritage Square got a treat when seven times and reigning Soca Monarch Fireman Hooper and three times Soca Monarch Skinny Fabulous appeared together on the same stage for the first time. Both Soca Bards pushed, in song, the message of supporting Vincy music and Vincy artistes. A call was made to stop the division for selfish reasons and their supporters embraced the call by dancing and jumping to the music that dated back as far as 2008, when Skinny Fabulous first took the crown from Fireman.

“This was a treat that LIME and Presidente cannot pay for,” opined Skinny Fabulous after his performance.

“We have the talent here to compete internationally and regionally, but we have to stop the pull down and fighting,” said Fireman.

Both artistes have indicated that they will be competing at this year’s Soca Monarch competition and everyone is anticipating the showdown.
