UWI hosts two UWISTAT Vice Chancellor’s Ambassadors tomorrow


The University of the West Indies Open Campus, St Vincent Site, is hosting two UWISTAT (Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow) Vice Chancellor’s Ambassadors from February 20 to 23.{{more}}

They are Jochelle Fortune (Bsc. Petroleum Geoscience Major) and Marlene Spencer (BA Communications Major), of the St Augustine Campus.

The aim of the visit is to promote the University of the West Indies and to join students and young people in discussing common issues relevant to development in the region.

Fortune and Spencer will visit and make presentations to fourth and fifth form students at Adelphi Secondary School, the George Stephens Secondary, the Intermediate High School, the Dr J. P. Eustace Memorial Secondary School, the Petit Bordel Secondary and the St Vincent Girls’ High School.

They will also meet with students at the Arts, Humanities and Sciences and the Technical and Vocational Education Divisions of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College Inc.

While here, Fortune and Spencer will interact with the media.
