Meanwhile, last Saturday, October 22, residents of the Grenadine Island of Bequia were treated to a grand time as the sixth installment of the Road Show brought a bit of excitement and free gifts to the usually quiet island.

Personnel from Digicel and Aeropost travelled to Bequia, where they allowed persons the opportunity to sign up with Aeropost free of cost while Digicel’s cash vault gave persons the opportunity to win prizes that included credit, handsets and data packages.

Persons interacted with the Aeropost team which was led by Customer Service Supervisor Donna Thomas-Allen and the Digicel team led by Marketing Executive Justin John.

The road show which began on Saturday, September 17, in Sandy Bay is designed to bring a bit of excitement and gifts to the various communities, while it also aims to inform persons of the services offered by Digicel and internet shopping company Aeropost.

Places visited to date include the Grammar School Playing (Saturday, October 8) and the town of Layou (Saturday, October 1). Persons who visit the Aeropost and Digicel booths are usually entertained with music and giveaways that include magazines, free Aeropost membership, Digicel towels, caps, water bottles and discounted handsets. Numerous school supplies are also given to children, while persons who buy credit get double top up.

The collaboration between Digicel and Aeropost is an effort to get the public more aware of the services offered by both companies, as well as giving back something to loyal customers.
