The prayer vigil is being organized by Triumph Covenant Ministries which said in a release that as our nation prepares for its 32nd Political and National Independence, “the signs of spiritual slavery, oppression and bondage are evidenced everywhere. True freedom can only be realized in Jesus Christ.”

“In the wake of the economic tension, crime, bloodshed, agricultural adversity, etc. that are invading our land, we believe that God is calling for the Church to arise and declare her position. Rom. 8: 19 – 22 tells us: ‘the whole of creation is eagerly awaiting the revealing of the Sons of God.’ Therefore, as part of the body of Christ, we are sounding an alarm to mobilize the church and nation to a national FREEDOM IN CHRIST rally to declare FREEDOM, SALVATION, HEALING AND DELIVERANCE over our land and its people.”

“We encourage all Pastors/Church Leaders to mobilize their congregations and communities to attend and participate in this event. This action is militant in its nature,” the release said.

The other segment of the rally will take the nature of a national outreach ministry.

“It will be a time of high impact Praise and Worship services, ministry of the word and prayer for deliverance and healing for the sick and oppressed. The dates for the rally are November 4 to 6, 2011, and it will take place at the Victoria Park.

“We believe that we are going to see and experience a mighty move of God like never before during this meetings,” the release said.

“We earnestly encourage your support and participation.
