He was also charged with four counts of rape on a girl under the age of 13. These incidents are alleged to have been committed between December 21, 2007, and April 22, 2011.

Jack appeared at the Magistrate’s Court and pleaded not guilty to all charges. He was remanded in custody and the matter was transferred to the Family Court for hearing on September 29, 2011.

Friday, August 12, was 17-year-old Anthony John’s turn to face the court. The Lauders resident was charged with having sex with a girl from another Caribbean island, who is under the age of 15, at Lauders, on July 29, 2011.

Appearing at the court on August 17 was Kenville Lewis, a labourer of Questelles.

On Friday, July 12, over 155 charges of rape, incest and carnal knowledge were brought against a man in his forties. The man is alleged to have committed the acts with his four daughters between 2007 and 2011. The man’s son was also slapped with two charges of carnal knowledge and two counts of incest on one of his sisters.

Police constable Kevin Thompson also found himself on the wrong side of the law as he is charged with rape. Thompson is now out on $15,000 bail after appearing at the Family Court on a charge of rape on Tuesday, July 26.

It is alleged that Thompson, who was at the time stationed at the Questelles Police Station, committed the offence while the girl was in police custody.
