Trini killed in foiled robbery attempt identified


The Trinidadian national who was shot and killed in a foiled robbery attempt two weeks ago has been identified as 31-year-old Christopher Jack Joseph.{{more}}

Joseph was one of four masked men who attempted to rob businessman Truman “Chewee” Quashie at his business place in Villa at about 3:19 a.m. on July 23, 2011.

Head of the Criminal Investigations Department Willisford Caesar told SEARCHLIGHT that Jack was buried by his wife, here in St. Vincent, on Thursday, August 4.

Three other men, Darron Shallow, 19, Clerk of Belmont; Jolarney David, 21, Mechanic of Hopewell, and a 15-year-old boy were charged jointly in connection with the attempted robbery.
