The programme, which will run from August 15 to 19, will be held under the theme “Forest for People”, a theme chosen by the International Year of the Forest.

A release from the Forestry Department said this year the effort will be conducted in the Marriaqua area and will cater for a maximum of 30 students on a first come first served basis.

Persons interested in registering for this programme may do so through Forest Supervisor Casmus McLeod or Range Officer Glenn Grant, who will be stationed at the Marriaqua Government School throughout the week from August 8 to 12, 2011.
