Fortunately for Anderson, because of her loyalty to telecommunications provider Karib Cable, her bill was paid in full.

The Middle Street, Barrouallie resident was the company’s first winner in their Pay to Win Big Promotions, which got started in June.

Up until the end of the year, customers making full payments of the Karib Cable bills will find themselves in winners’ row, with the opportunity to win various prizes, including plasma televisions, computers, gift vouchers, free broadband internet, cable and fixed line service.

In the case of Anderson, she was the winner of a shopping spree which took place on Tuesday, July 12, at Randy’s Supermarket on Lower Bay Street.

Anderson, a mother of four, was given one minute to retrieve as many items from the shelves of the supermarket as possible, with the exception of alcohol.

The vendor, cheered on by family members, friends and others customers in the supermarket, accumulated her purchases, which consisted mainly of household products and food items, in two trolleys.

After her spree, Anderson indicated that she felt blessed to win the free grocery.

A customer of Karib Cable since 2004, Anderson said that she always her pays her cable bill in full so it was no problem being entered into the promotions.

She expressed gratitude for the win, and thanked Karib Cable for the opportunity to be a winner in the Pay and Win Big promotions.

The promotions continue with more prizes to be won by customers.

The grand finale takes place on December 31, 2011, with one customer taking home a fifty inch plasma television set, free cable for six months, a laptop computer with three months broadband Internet, free fixed line for six months, along with $50 free credit every month for the six months. (JJ)
